What is in it?

Red Wine Extract with Resveratol (Vitis Vinifera Extr. Equiv 1g dry fruit standardised to 1mg Resveratrol)

French Parad’ox Plus contains dry Red Wine marc Extract (Vitis Vinifera) standardised to provide 40-60mg polyphenols, of which 20-30mg are proanthocyanidins and 5-10mg anthocyanosides).

Ingredients: Dry (Vitis Vinifera) grape extract (200mg per capsule) rich in resveratrol . Contains no added sugar, dairy, gelatin or preservatives.

How does it work?

Recent studies have demonstrated a close relationship between the regular intake of red wine and a healthy heart and circulation. Although the beneficial action of red wine is not completely understood it is thought to be in part due to its high content of proanthocyanidins and resveratrol. These active ingredients may also help to keep skin smooth, reduce the effects of wrinkles and give your skin a more healthy youthful appearance while protecting the skin’s natural collagen and elastin.

Studies conducted over 20 years in 7 different countries showed that men who had the highest intake of flavanoids had the lowest relative risk of dying from a heart attack. In a separate study at the University of Wisconsin, Cardiology Section, Coronary Thrombosis Research and Prevention Laboratory, Madison Wisconsin, USA, in various trials, using proanocyanidins and flavanoids, it was found that French parad’ox was the ONLY commercial food supplement that was effective in inhibiting platelets which contribute to the development of coronary artery atherosclerotic disease (narrowing of the arteries). When taken daily, it will have an accumulative effect, providing protection against coronary thrombosis.
