WHAT IS OSTEOARTHRITIS?
Osteoarthritis is a common degenerative disease affecting the joints and often causes discomfort, pain and inflammation. Joint mobility (difficulty in moving the joint) can also be a debilitating effect of osteoarthritis. The condition is often seen in joints that are used repetitively over the years and it is not unusual for persons who continuously use particular joints to suffer from osteoarthritis.
